*Beginning Salsa: Mambo is the basic step in Salsa. Salsa Music comes from a fusion of Swing
& Cuban Music. Our Salsa classes respect those roots in order to enjoy the diversity that the dance offers. Our basic Salsa class teaches the fundamentals of:
Salsa (Mambo) Movement, Musicality, Lead and Follow, Framing, Arm Tone & Turns.
While focusing on technique, our class also offers a variety of nice patterns that our students are taught to lead and follow with elegance and style.

**Intermediate Salsa: Salsa is Mambo danced to Salsa Music. While Mambo is said to have originated in Cuba (by way of Africa), the dance we know comes from a fusion of Swing and Cuban Music. Our Intermediate Salsa class, builds upon and re-inforces technique introduced in our basic class. Gaining technical competence in your dancing, as opposed to memorizing patterns, allows you to lead/follow with greater ease and originality. This allows you to get greater enjoyment out of it. In other words, we teach you how to have fun with the dance!
