Lesson at 7pm, general dancing at 8. Bring friends and novice dancers. Dance hosts available for both women and men! Fall in Love (at least with dancing)!

Speaking of VOLUNTEERS, after our recent elections, we now have a new USA Dance LA Board of Directors, headed by a new President, me... David Spetner. One of our major plans for this 2008 is to expand the organization with ambitious projects like holding much bigger dances, more services like an all-day Dance Camp workshop and Community Outreach.

To accomplish our goals and even just to operate at our current level, we need volunteers for both small tasks and Committee Chairs who are interested in expanding our group and making it the leading USA Dance chapter in the country. We are an all-volunteer organization and we need your help to make this happen.

Here are some positions we need to fill right now.

A graphic designer to help with our flyers. Not a big job, just someone who is talented in this area.

Help with volunteer coordination

People who are interested in Community Outreach who can help organize events in the community, fulfilling our mission of promoting and introducing Ballroom Dancing to all people. This includes dancers who are willing to demonstrate dance in various places.

Dance mentors who can help novice dancers by supplying information and coaching on the who, what, where and how to Ballroom Dance.

Finding additional venues to expand our locations for dances.

Members who can introduce USA Dance LA to their favorite studio and instructors, to publicize our dances and recruit members.

IF YOU'VE ENJOYED OUR DANCES, PLEASE CONSIDER THAT WE NEED YOUR HELP. MOST OF OUR VOLUNTEER POSITIONS DO NOT TAKE UP A LOT OF TIME.
